All our drivers have the use of cell phones.
Our Harare office is a self-standing and fully-fledged transport
broker and offers forwarding service as well as being the biggest
local inner city.
For your benefit RTV Shipping does not, and did not close between
Xmas and New Year, a peak period. Please arrange with our Ops
staff for end of the of the year movements.
How to ensure quick processing of shipments Ensure that the
documentation reflects precise information of the commodity
For Customs purposes a faxed copy of the commercial invoice and bill of lading
would be required. To Avoid unnecessary delays and consequently additional
costs, the following information must be furnished as a pre-requisite to having
vehicles customs cleared: chassis number, engine number, year of manufacture,
colour, make and model.
The original/negotiable bill of lading is to be made available prior to the
vessel's arrival in order to obtain physical delivery of the cargo and to avoid
any storage charges incurring.
Processing time at Customs may take up to 48 hours, it is there-fore vitally
important that documents are faxed immediately that they are available, preferably
at least five days prior to the vessel's arrival and the originals not later
